ReStore Housing, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, structured, and supportive sober living homes for men in New Orleans and the surrounding area. We serve Veterans, individuals recovering from substance abuse, people re-entering society after incarceration, and those experiencing homelessness. Our shared New Orleans recovery homes offer affordability, accountability, and a community environment — creating a pathway to long-term stability and independence.
ReStore Housing provides more than just a sober, clean, and high-quality place to live, our house members experience southern hospitality seasoned with genuine care, allowing them the chance to reset, rebuild, and reimagine their future through peer-driven support.
The purpose of ReStore Housing is to operate exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our We Care Housing Program ensure each house member has access to the necessary resources and support to build their self-esteem and dignity, creating a strong foundation to independence and permanent housing.
This includes providing transitional housing in New Orleans that serve as sober living homes that provides a stable, alcohol- and drug-free living environment for people in early recovery. However, our recovery residences also support individuals beyond those mentioned above and beyond substance use, including those navigating major life transitions, individuals from low-income backgrounds, and working professionals.
We refer house members to licensed third-party service providers that offer vital recovery support, life skill trainings, outpatient treatment, case management, workforce development, benefit enrollment assistance (SNAP, VA, SSI, SSDI), and connection to physical, mental & addition healthcare. Our New Orleans sober living homes assist members with the structure, skills, and support systems needed to live fully independently.

At ReStore Housing our "We Care" New Orleans recovery homes are fully furnished with beds, linens dressers, TVs, appliances, and essential household items. All utilities including water, gas, and electricity are covered. House members also enjoy free Wi-Fi, cable TV/Fire Stick, and washer & dryer access. NO move-in hassles, NO credit check, NO security deposit, and FAST admissions.

ReStore Housing, Inc. fills a critical gap in Greater New Orleans and the surrounding area housing system by combining the stability of recovery housing with the transitional support of rapid rehousing. This hybrid approach prevents & reduces homelessness and relapse by supporting recovery, and moves house members from supportive transitional housing toward independent permanent housing.
