Kitchen
• Buy your own food. Refrigerator and dry food spaces are assigned.
• Clean up immediately after cooking and put leftovers away.
• Wash all dishes and utensils right after use—do not leave them in the sink.
• Meals must be eaten in the kitchen or dining room. Light snacks are allowed in the TV room.
• House dishes may not be taken outside.
• Do not pour grease or oil down the sink—use the provided container or trash can.
Bedrooms
• Keep bedrooms clean and organized at all times.
• Beds must be made each morning.
• Bedroom doors must remain unlocked.
• Visitors are not allowed in bedrooms or upstairs (including residents from other houses).
Living/TV Room
• Be considerate of others watching TV—no loud conversations or phone calls.
• Meals are not allowed in the TV room. Light snacks and drinks are okay. Clean up afterward.
• The house TV must be turned off at the time designated by the House Manager.
• Those employed or in school have TV priority after work and on weekends.
Laundry
• Those employed or in school have priority for laundry after work and on weekends.
• Laundry hours: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Do not start laundry after 7:30 PM.
• Balance washer loads to avoid unbalancing.
• Check if anyone is showering before starting laundry.
• Use warm/cold or cold/cold water only.
• Remove laundry promptly when finished. If left for more than 15 minutes, others may move it respectfully.
• Dry one washer load at a time.
• Clean the lint trap after each dryer load and dispose of lint in the trash.
Dress Code
• No gang-related, substance-related, or inappropriate attire/accessories.
• Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.
Bathrooms
• Showers should be limited to 5–10 minutes; total bathroom use should not exceed 15 minutes during peak hours.
• Visitors may not use showers.
• Do not wash clothes in showers.
• Do not leave personal items out or hanging to dry.
• Clean the shower, tub, and sink after each use.
Vehicles & Parking
• One vehicle per licensed house member.
• Vehicles must be in good working order, registered, and insured.
• Park only in assigned spaces. Be courteous—space is limited.
Smoking
• No smoking, candles, or incense inside the house.
• Dispose of ashes and cigarette butts in designated containers only.
Music/TV
• Keep volume at respectful levels at all times and must use headphones or ear bugs.
• Music and TV content may be reviewed by staff for appropriateness.
• TVs are not allowed in bedrooms.
Visitors
• NO visitors unless approved by the Head of Staff (HOS).
• You are responsible for your visitors at all times.
• No sexual activity is allowed.
Miscellaneous
• Respect others—if it’s not yours, don’t touch it. Always ask first.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, sober living environment.
• Respect neighbors at all times. Do not cut through yards.
• The use of unapproved substances or inappropriate internet activity is strictly prohibited.
• House members not employed or in school must spend the day on self-improvement (job searching, education, meetings, etc.).
• Turn off lights and appliances when leaving a room.
• Maintain good personal hygiene: shower regularly, brush your teeth, and wash your clothes often.
